Edwardian Telescopic Standard Lamp Circa 1910

Description

A good and most decorative telescopic standard lamp.

The Corinthian column has an adjustable height between 170 cm and 140 cm from the base to the socket it stands on a stepped plinth with Lion’s paw feet, which conceals a very heavy cast iron base. This is a very well made lamp made from heavy gauge brass which has a beautiful mellow colour unlike the brassy reproductions of today it would fit and enhance enhance a variety of rooms. The lamp has been decommissioned (wiring removed) but can be rewired should the customer require it
