Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very rare original Howard & Son’s Berners Street fully stamped light mahogany wardrobe

This has to be one of my absolute favourite antiques, made by the great firm of Howard, it’s a Victorian piece with all the elegant lines from the high Georgian era. This piece is pure and utter quality, you will be hard-pressed to find a better example anywhere in the world

Howard made a name for themselves as fine furniture makers in the early Victorian era, they then went on to be known as simply put “the makers of the most comfortable sofas in the world” a title they hold to this day, the Queen reputedly has the largest private collection in the world

This piece has been cleaned waxed and polished from top to bottom, it will naturally have some age and use related patina marks here and there, to my eyes and hands its in very fine order
