Description

This beautiful quality silver mounted crystal glass Angostura bitters bottle bears the marks of the celebrated Mappin & Webb and is dated Birmingham 1934. These bottles are not easy to find and therefore quite sought-after. Hallmarked silver lid and pourer, typically mounted on a cork.

The heavy lead crystal glass bottle with attractive sliced-cut decorations.

Hallmarks:

Mn&Wb for Mappin & Webb

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion passant.

Date letter "K" for 1934.

Dimensions:

Height: 16cm - 6.2 inches.

Diameter at widest: 9cm - 3.4 inches

Condition:

Excellent. Silver top in excellent condition. Glass in perfect condition.
