Wild and Wessel Adjustable Height Oil Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

A brass Student's oil lamp with the Wild and Wessel Kosmos name and trademark on the burner handle.

It measures 44cm in height when in the lower position and 52cm when raised up. The base is 13cm in diameter and it is in good condition except for the break in the bottom of the glass funnel - see photos 4 & 5.

We will be putting improved images on here soon.

Wild and Wessel of Berlin in Germany started in 1865 and became part of Hugo Schneider & Co who continued to use the same marking on their products. This is probably circa 1910-1940.

Postage and packing is included in the price for the UK mainland and for remote areas or abroad please contact us for a delivery quote.
