19th C Solid Satinwood Campaign Chest

Description

A rare solid Satinwood campaign chest. Having an arrangement of 2 short and 3 full length drawers, all retaining the original inset brass lacquered handles and cross-banded in Mahogany. The top with brass lacquered corners with further cross-banded Mahogany decoration. The whole raised on acorn feet. Good even colour to this striking firm standing Satinwood chest of which splits into 2 sections from original. Circa 1850.
