Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
They have a Vono style frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of two headboards, two footboards and four iron rails (no bases or mattress or included).
Measuring approx. 107cm by 190cm, a wide single bed is the same length as a standard UK 3ft single bed, but 17cm/6 inch wider, giving a slightly roomier sleep. These mattress are available from some larger mattress suppliers as well as some online mattress suppliers.
