A Good Rosewood Fusee Table Bracket Clock In A Break-arch Case By Brockbank & Atkins, London. Circa 1825

This is a small and well proportioned brass inlaid Rosewood bracket fusee clock which looks stunning.
 
The large eight day duration, four pillar chain fusee movement, having Anchor Recoil escapement, micrometer regulation and pendulum parking bracket.
 
Behind a 6'' wide x 8'' high white painted arched dial with minute ring, Roman numerals and the lower area signed ''BROCKBANK & ATKINS, LONDON'' and numbered ''2372''. Also having blued spade hands.
 
Contained in a good, brass strung rosewood case having a low break-arch top with cavetto moulding, a full size front door with arched top glass and brass quadrant moulding, canted front corners inlaid with brass strip and top brass strung quarter returns. The sides having silk-backed brass fish-scale frets and the rear having a fully glazed door. The plinth sits below a further cavetto moulding and is also brass strung. Finally, mounted on four brass ball-and-plate feet.
