Description

Very smart early 20th.c. French brass mounted bookcase c.1930. Two long doors with wavy brass grills over blind lower panels, fitted inside with three adjustable shelves. Bright tulipwood and mahogany veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front and sides with inlaid ebony stringing. Moulded cornice and canted corners with good quality brass ram’s head mounts. Shaped apron below the doors with a cartouche and laurel leaf mount at the centre and large acanthus leaf mounts to the front feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
