Description

Excellent German Peerless 8 Day Movement Playing 3 Tunes (Westminster, Whittington and St Michaels) on Mellow Embee Gongs (8 plus 4). Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Good and Full antique Working Condition. Strike/Silent and Chime/Silent. Fine Veneer Adjuster to Assist Setting the Best Beat. Also Fine Veneer Adjusters to Tune each of the Chime Hammers and also one for the Strike Set.

Having not seen another Limed Effect Longcase before, we can only assume that was done sometime later to the English Oak Case as a personal choice.

To match the Light Colour of the Case the Silvered Dial Ring has had its dark numbers have been removed but the outline still remains. So, they could easily be reapplied if you want dark numbers.

Nice Size Clock being 188cm or 74in (6ft 2in) high.
