George III Silver Christening Mug 1819

A superb GEORGIAN SILVER CHRISTENING MUG made by the well-known silversmith, William Bateman in 1819.

This beautiful Silver Christening Mug has embossed floral decoration and is raised on a circular foot. The handle is unusual and depicts two entwined snakes, making this a stunning example.

Free from any added engravings, monograms or initials, this fabulous Silver Mug is in excellent condition for its age and would make a wonderful gift or could add to any collection.
