Regency Mahogany Window Seat / Dressing Stool

Stylish Regency mahogany window seat / dressing stool; of exaggerated shape and neat proportions; the reeded scrolled arms terminating with carved flower head paterae; united by slender turned and reeded hand rails. The seat frame with a fluted panel front raised on substantial turned tapering legs with original brass cup castors. The upholstery stripped back to the hessian with its original horse hair cushion. Good rich colour and patina.
