Antique Oak Farmhouse Kitchen Table

A rather charming 19th century antique oak farmhouse kitchen table. The antique oak table has a two plank top with moulded edge. There are two fitted drawers to one side with turned wooden knobs (losses to one knob). The oak farmhouse kitchen table is raised on four turned legs. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. An attractive, well-proportioned example. Origin: West Wales.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top (pictured). There are some splits to the top planks and some historical repairs. The oak farmhouse kitchen table remains structurally solid and sound and is of good construction. The drawers run well and have had replacement plywood bases at some point in time. There are losses to one of the drawer knobs. A particularly good example with lots of charm and character throughout.
