Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
There are two later added brass hanging rails. The base also has two blind panel cupboard doors. These open to reveal further storage with a fitted shelf. The Georgian oak cupboard separates into two pieces for ease of transport and movement. Good colour and patina throughout. There is a key present but it does not operate the lock – instead it is used as a ‘handle’ to open the door.

Item Ref; M-3063
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 179cm / Width – 116cm / Depth – 33cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the cupboard doors. The top section has had a replacement plywood base and later added brass rails. The key does not operate the lock but is used to open the door. Some losses in places, but overall, in good condition. Evidence of old historic woodworm – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique Georgian oak cupboard remains structurally solid and sound. An attractive and charming example of Georgian oak cupboard.
