Rare Victorian Silver Whistle by H. W. Ashford, Birmingham 1895

Description

This is an unusual and exquisite Victorian silver chatelaine whistle. Of small proportions, the body engraved with foliate scrolls. The top fitted with a suspension ring for a chain. In full working order. Victorian silver whistles are few and far between and this is a very sweet example.

H.W.A for H W Ashford & Co.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "v" for 1895.

Lion Passant.

Condition:

Very good.
