Antique Oak Writing Table

An unusual antique oak writing table or side table. The oak table has a rectangular shaped top with a moulded edge. There are two small fitted drawers to the front, each with two small knobs. The writing table is raised on decorative sides with (what appears to be) a later added central stretcher or support. There are hinges to the inside of the sides/legs which suggest that this was originally an antique folding writing table. The stretcher has been fixed so the table no longer folds down. An attractive piece of antique furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and staining to the top (pictured). The antique oak writing table remains structurally solid and sound. The central stretcher or support appears to be a later addition.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
