An attractive gesso mirror dating to the mid 19th century. With floral decoration and more unusually a set of bagpipes one could be forgiven for thinking that this was made in Scotland. However, a makers label on the back confirms that it was made in Paris by Hopillart and Leroy.
A small amount of foxing on the glass which is to be expected with a mirror of this age.
Frame - 48'' x 16 1/4''
Glass - 42.5'' x 13 1/4''
