This is a set of 4 antique embroidered chairs. An English, mahogany dining seat in the Sheraton manner, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1780.

Delightful embroidered cushions and superb Georgian craftsmanship

Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout - cushions show slight colour variance

Select stocks present deep russet hues beneath a wax polish finish

Traditionally stuffed cushions upholstered with later, quality needlepoint covers

Elegant backrest with deftly carved wheatsheaf and sash garland detail

With a subtle bow form, the top rail adorned with carved flowerheads to the ears

Distinctive reeded support columns of slender profile turned in classical taste

Hand embroidered cushions host colourful bouquets of flowers over natural coloured grounds
