Description

This is a large antique craftsman's table. An English, pine kitchen island, preparation table or shop retail bench, dating to the Victorian period and later, circa 1900.

Of substantial proportion - suitable for the larger home or retail space

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

Victorian pine shows fine grain interest and mellow caramel hues

Graced with a pleasing array of craft marks to the top, commensurate with use

Seven stout planks set within framed edges of 4.5cm (1.75") thickness

Pair of wide drawers along the front apron, each dressed with scallop shell cup handles

Full width undertier offers generous storage for kitchen machinery or merchandise

Stands upon six square section legs united front to back with wide stretchers

This is a superior antique craftsman's table, with huge proportion fit for a country kitchen or shop retail environment. Delightfully patinated top adds time worn character, whilst the drawers and undertier provide copious space for utensils or stock.
