Antique English Sterling Silver Magnifying Glass - 1888

Description

A fabulous original English magnifying glass, with a sterling silver fluted handle and unusually, the frame surrounding the glass is also solid silver and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1888. The makers mark is also present for Adie and Lovekin and also present is the coveted Queen Victoria's head duty mark.

The glass is in excellent condition with a good magnification and very usable. Unusual, stunning and useful in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age; 8" x 3" x 1/2".
