The slightly out-swept arms sit nicely over the leather seat pad which have stud detail and applied floral detail, typical of the period. The whole standing on handsome legs the rear legs of sabre form. The front legs are square and tapered, having carved knee and terminating in pedestal feet. The chairs have the look and style of Louis Majorelle who worked in Nancy, France in the late C19th to the early C20th. A good looking pair of chairs with beautiful organic lines. Would suit a modern or period interior. Price is for the pair. Seat height 44cm.
