Description

Unusual French Art Deco era terracotta bust of a woman c.1925. A lovely example of the fashion of the day, wearing a cloche hat and gloves she holds her coat tight around her neck against the cold. Artist unknown though there is a large signature (Pargesse perhaps) low on the front of the piece. Some wear to the surface probably due to weathering and a very small chip from the brim of the hat.
