Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The cabinet with a mould edge top and rounded corners, the top finished with a concave under mould, above a pair of fielded panel doors, complete with lock and key, opening to reveal an interior filled with two short, and three long graduated drawers, each with ebonized knob handles, against the satinwood drawer fronts, chosen to provide dramatic contrasts.
The whole raised up on a small plinth base.

Depth 9 3/4 inches, 25cm.
Date circa 1850.
