These tables were originally made for Aqualate Hall to be used in their scullery for preparation and serving of food. They have not moved from the scullery since they were commissioned for this property! The tables are constructed in the traditional joined manner, boasting a solid pine boarded top with an up-stand to the backs of the tables. Please note, the upstands have a cured end on opposite ends of each table this allows for a table to stand on the left and a table on the right on the same wall. Below, the tables feature a straight moulded frieze to the front, rear and left side. To the centre of the table is a pine lined drawer, with hand-dovetail construction and retaining the original ebonised turned knobs. The tables are raised on sturdy tapered pine legs. The tables retain the original lovely scumbled finish having been wax-polished to a professional standard in our workshop; therefore, they boast a lovely colour & grain configuration.
