Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
An amazing condition original chest of drawers.
We are delighted to bring to you the finest example of a rare large Georgian (circa 1830) 5 deep descending drawer chest of drawers in solid Mahogany which is completely original and ideal for any period property.
This chest features cock beaded edges (none missing or broken) which frames the stunning mahogany bowed drawer fronts. The drawers also feature Mahogany turned knobs which are in fantastic condition with no breaks or pieces missing. The finely dovetailed Oak sided drawers are in near perfect condition, the drawers are smoothly operating due to the runners being replaced and they are very clean inside. The drawers have their original locks with keyhole escutcheons, however, no keys are present. The chest of drawers also stands on its beautifully ornate shaped bracket feet. This chest of drawers has just been carefully cleaned and waxed by us, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item there are obviously marks, scratches, dents and some old repairs here and there as expected with anything of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
