The pair of stallions, counter facing, as they step to left and right. The rear stallion with head raised, the front stallion looking to the ground. Both horses tacked up for riding, with raised stirrups, saddle, head piece, reins and bits. The stallions pacing over an oval naturalistic grass and leaf strewn oval base.
Date circa 1870.
