A delightful pair of Art Deco era French bookends dating to c1930. The mounted figures of deer grazing from a height, standing in long grass, are made of spelter with a gilt bronze coating. They stand on beige polished marble bases. They are quite petite for this type of item but they are in fabulous condition. I can’t see any faults at all. Perfect to display some treasured volumes.
