Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then a mixture of baguette and brilliant cut diamonds to shoulders and bracelet which simply glides around the wrist and is very much of the Art Deco era in design.
As you would expect from Vertex the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has the total weight is approximately 4cts, the sparkle they generate is just stunning and it is heavy.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6.5 inches or 16.5cms and the case is 15mm in diameter not including the winding crown.
It comes with its original presentation box.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which is in superb condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The 17 jewel movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Vertex the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement and this is the most perfect example we have ever come across.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
