~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A lovely antique French clock by A. D. Mougin. It is boldly modelled in the Rococo style in gilded bronze. Waisted keyhole shape profusely decorated with 'C' scrolls, and acanthus to the shoulders. A large shell motif is mounted to the front and to the top is an elaborate asymmetric finial.

The large dial is porcelain enamel on copper with separate minute ring. It is complete with it's original finely fretted hands and Rococo bezel with convex glass.
The French movement is of high quality and is by A. D. Mougin. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.
The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage. The original glass has 3 light scratches.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
