Description

A well-proportioned late 19th century antique country farmhouse rocking chair. The antique rocking chair has a lathe or slat back with shaped arms raised on turned upright supports. The solid seat is raised on four turned legs with skid rockers. Stripped back and finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the seat and arms (pictured). The antique rocking chair remains structurally solid and sound with good tight joints. The rocking chair has an honest repair to on of the arms (pictured). Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.
