Description

This wonderful large silver plated meat cover which dates from c1893 is made by top silversmith Walker & Hall and is a nice large size making it perfect for your Christmas turkey or for covering a big roast.

This excellent quality meat dome has a fancy beaded handle and edging, is a good heavy gauge and is nice and clean inside. There is a hanging loop inside.

Marked: Maker's mark for Walker & Hall. Walker & Hall. Sheffield. 1109. Date letter for 1893/94.

Dimensions: 47.5 cm (18 1/2") Length. 37 cm (14 1/2") Width. 28 cm (11") Height including handle.

Weight: 2.7 kg.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. No dents, damage or deep scratches. Nice clean condition with just light surface scratches and one minute ding.
