Description

An elegant oval silver plated cocktail / serving tray with striking handles to either end.

Just back from our silversmith's workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

The underside is fully marked for Charles William Fletcher, active c. 1910-c. 1969. Manufacturing Silversmiths and Cutlers, etc. at Mortimer Works, Leadmill Street, Sheffield, Sterling Works, 172 Bramwell Lane and 76 Arundel St., Sheffield. The firm used the trade mark ARUNDEL PLATE.

Excellent condition dating to c.1940. Handle to handle the tray spans 17 1/2" x 10" x 1 1/4" tall to top of handle.
