Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian jewellery, dating from 1901 to 1915, is known for its light, delicate metalwork and refined proportions. Cluster rings from this period often feature central old cut diamonds encircled by smaller stones in floral or scalloped settings.

Edwardian pieces typically combine yellow gold bands with platinum settings to enhance the whiteness of diamonds. Diamonds were predominantly old mine cut or old European cut, prized for their deep pavilions and soft light reflection.

Authentic Edwardian rings display hand-cut gemstones, subtle millegrain edging, and pierced openwork rather than cast details. Hallmarks indicating gold purity or makers marks from the early 20th century further verify age.

Antique rings can be curated on vintage trinket dishes, velvet ring boxes, or brass tray displays on a dressing table. Their classical motifs allow them to blend easily alongside contemporary accessories.

Clean gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft toothbrush to avoid dislodging small accent stones. Avoid exposure to harsh household chemicals and store individually in a fabric-lined box to prevent surface scratching.
