Thakeham Furniture has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Raised on eight ring turned and ebonised legs capped with brass castors.

The table features the iconic 'Wilkinson patent' scissor mechanism which was designed by the Wilkinson cousins in the late 18th century. This ingenious, space saving design, takes the table from side-table size, right the way up to a 10 seater when fully extended. The four removable leaves (three large and one small) offer plenty of flexibility.
