An outstanding and very rare sterling silver teaspoon by the renowned designer Amy Sandheim. The spoon has a hand planished bowl and an elegant pierced terminal. On the back are the very clear hallmarks for The London Assay Office 1933 along with Amy Sandheim''s maker''s mark and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. It comes in an antique leatherette case (not the original case).
 
 
 
Amy''s father Adolph Sandheim was the Chief Instructor at The Central School of Arts & Crafts in Nottinghill Gate London, where Amy took over control.
 
 
 
A spoon of great interest and highly collectable and in lovely antique collector''s condition.
 
 
 
Hallmarks: London 1933 by Amy Sandheim.
