This Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Jardiniere is very elegantly styled and offers a good-sized liner space for plants or indeed a bottle of champagne on ice! Standing on three inlaid legs that themselves have a good sweep to aid stability, combining with a triangular lower shelf that has some very intricate inlaid detailing.
The curved sides each have a glorious marquetry panel consisting of an urn, foliage and swag detailing, which is bordered with a Satinwood cross banding. The rich warm tone of the Mahogany crisply contrasts with the various tones of the inlay.
The metal liner can be lifted out, if needed. This Jardiniere would be sure to make a statement wherever placed in the home. Presented in excellent restored condition.
