Antique Georgian Mahogany Tea Table

Description

Antique George II mahogany tea table dating from around the 1750’s & in very good original condition & with a wonderful colour.

Originally, these tables were generally put out of the way & brought out to serve tea on, hence the name.

This table has nice small proportions, a working original lock & a very useful storage compartment. The back legs swing out to support the top when open & the original hinges are iron. This tea table which is a really nice example, is free from warps, splits, or woodworm.

Depth – 14 inches, 36 cm

Height – 28 inches, 72 cm
