Art Deco 0.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1940

Description

A super high quality vintage engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as G colour, VVS1 clarity – is high white, near internally flawless, and impressively bright. The stone is secured in an eight-claw coronet collet leading to a finely pierced and milgrained shoulders featuring a further six (three each side) old mine cut diamonds, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.

Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182332).

Cut – Old European cut in the centre with old mine cuts in the shoulders.

Colour – G (the diamonds in the shoulders are H to I).

Clarity – VVS1 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).

Carat – 0.80 in the centre (with a further approximate 0.15 carat in the shoulders).

Circa – 1940.

Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The diamond is 6.16 x 6.27mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
