Pair of Antique French Napoleon III Tub Back Armchairs

19th century
Description

A pair of Antique French Napoleon III Crapeaud chairs, with tub shaped button backs, scroll over arms and sprung seats, upholstered in salmon pink corduroy with fringe trim.

The frames and springs are in good condition with no lumps to the seats, the corduroy is grubby but would clean up with a steam clean (I have not attempted this), however I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric if preferred - please contact me for further details.

The backs 80cm high, 79cm wide from outside arm to outside arm, the seat 54cm wide , 53cm deep and 36cm high.
