Description

A Welsh Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A walnut case with brass bezel surround. A 13" painted dial with blued steel hands and signed 'W MAYLER LLANDUDNO'. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1880.

William Mayler of Llandudno listed in Peates' 'Clock and Watchmakers in Wales' book as working from 1868-1890 at Mostyn Street and also at Gloddaeth Street.
