Below is a hinged leather writing slop that opens to reveal a useful storage space with pigeon holes. The base of the Dickens desk has an arrangement of eight drawers around a central kneehole with the central drawer being a dummy drawer. Raised on plinth bases with castors. The desk separates into three parts for ease of transport and movement.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good, well-worn antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the writing surfaces and drawer fronts (pictured). The leather writing surface are worn in places and are starting to curl at the corners. There is Dickens desk remains structurally solid and sound and separates into three parts for ease of transport. The desk is quite worn in places but retains its Victorian charm and remains fully functional. Overall, a good desk.
