The Silver Cabinet has dated these George III Silver Wine Coasters to the Georgian era.
They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1819 and carry the maker's mark of S C Younge & Co.
The turned hardwood bases are covered in green baize. There is a family crest on the central boss. There is damage to the underside of both rims - I am advised that this is possibly due to air bubbles within the embossed decorations having blown but, as they are not visible unless the coasters are upside down, they have not been repaired and the coasters are priced accordingly.

Dimensions:
Diameter: 16cm
