A 19th Century Gilt Brass Table Top Telescope.

The telescope with a two drawer barrel, and two subsidiary eye pieces. The adjustable tripod stand with a holding bracket. The barrel engraved for the maker 'A SCHWAIGER, AUGSBURG'. Complete with the walnut case and lens cover.

Date circa 1870.

Height 13 1/2 inches, 34cm, telescope horizontal.

Width 24 inches, 61cm, telescope closed.
