This is a very handsome 18th century oak hall bench. Great quality item with honest age related repairs that are done very well and take nothing away from the piece. The colour and patina of the wood is superb after years of use. The back panels are quarter sawn oak and they have neatly carved boarders which give the hall bench that little bit of extra detail. What I love about this piece is that when looked at straight on the centre leg is slightly closer to the left side which give it a real charm and character.
