Three Welsh Stoneware Flagons

1900 - 1920
Description

Three Welsh stoneware flagons dating back to 1914. Each of the stoneware flagons have text to the fronts.

The set consists of ‘Thos.H. Hewitt, Botanical Brewer, Skewen, 1914’, ‘Ridgway Bros, Botanical Brewers, Coldbrook Road, Cadoxton and Cardiff, 1915’, and ‘Harrison & Co, 110 High Street, Gorseinon, Glam’. Each of the stoneware jars or flagons have their stoppers. A good, decorative set of three Welsh stoneware flagons.

DIMENSIONS:

Height – 30cm / Width – 13cm / Depth – 13cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks. There are some losses around the necks (pictured) and some hairline cracks in places. Overall, a good set of three Welsh stoneware flagons.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
