Pair Of Large Dresden Porcelain Vases & Covers C.1880

A handsome pair of late 19th century Dresden porcelain vases and covers with a rich blue ground with large reserves on each side painted with scenes of courting couples against countryside landscapes. Ornate gilt decoration frame the reserves, around the necks and covers and small gilt floral sprigs are scattered about the body. Both vases marked with Dresden in script under an asterisk star.
They measure 30cm (11 3/4'') high and 12cm (4 3/4'') wide.
Condition is very good: one has has a very good professional repair to the cover. No other damage, repairs or restoration and very minor handling wear.
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
