FB Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The top fits onto two pedestals, each with four graduated drawers, flanked by carved corbels above a plinth base. On the opposite side, there are two paneled cupboard doors, each also flanked by corbels, containing a shelf. The desk is in very good condition for its age and boasts well figured timbers throughout.
