Description

A set of brass postal scales with the registered mark clearly visible dating it to around 1013, and with a screw to fit it to a desk and keep it steady.

It measures 18cm in height and approximately 16cm across the base, and it is more solid and heavy than may appear in the photos. The parts are all original including the pendulum.

The label on the front giving exact postal rates in pounds, shillings and pence has faded in places otherwise the item is in ver good condition and complete. It has been professionally polished but not lacquered.
