Description

A very large and heavy silver plated tray on four ornate feet. Bearing no makers mark but probably dates to the mid 19th Century. Beautifully crested to the centre with a Coat of Arms, bearing the motto 'Virescit Vulnere Virtus' (Courage Grows Strong at a Wound). Beautiful chased detailing and wonderfully shaped to the rim.

The condition is very good with no splits or dents, some minor surface scratching as to be expected due to age and use.
