The rectangular top having easel adjustment, with wooden book-rest, with a deep storage well below.
Below the storage well is a drawer, with a dummy drawer above, having brass disc handles.
To the opposing side are matching dummy drawers.
Supported by very elegant ring turned legs, with the original brass castors.
Constructed from finely figured mahogany with a good rich patina.
In excellent antique original condition, solid and sturdy.
A beautiful very useful item from a very elegant era.
