A Victorian Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop. The marrow scoop is of slim elegant form with a double reeded stem. The marrow scoop is hallmarked with the makers mark of Elkington & Co, Birmingham assay office marks, and date letter 'K' to denote 1859. Date: - 1859. Period: - Mid 19th Century. Engraving: - The larger bowl with presentation inscription dated 1st December 1878. Maker: - Elkington & Co. Measurement: - 23.4cm (length) x 1.25cm (bowl width) x 0.7cm (bowl depth). Weight: - 32.3 grams. Condition: - The marrow scoop is in good antique condition. Bowls are in good shape. No dents, repairs, or damage. Surface scratches commensurate with age and usage.
