Description

A Victorian Sterling Silver Marrow Scoop. The marrow scoop is of slim elegant form with a double reeded stem.
The marrow scoop is hallmarked with the makers mark of Elkington & Co, Birmingham assay office marks, and date letter 'K' to denote 1859.
Date: - 1859.
Period: - Mid 19th Century.
Engraving: - The larger bowl with presentation inscription dated 1st December 1878.
Maker: - Elkington & Co.
Measurement: - 23.4cm (length) x 1.25cm (bowl width) x 0.7cm (bowl depth).
Weight: - 32.3 grams.
Condition: - The marrow scoop is in good antique condition. Bowls are in good shape. No dents, repairs, or damage. Surface scratches commensurate with age and usage. Hallmarks are clear. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
